Playa de Papagayo 🌊
Playa de Papagayo is often considered the most beautiful beach in Lanzarote, and after visiting, we completely understood why.
The water is exceptionally clear, the sand is soft and golden, and the surrounding cliffs create a peaceful and sheltered setting. Even though it is well known, it still feels natural and unspoiled.
This is the kind of beach where you arrive for a short visit and end up staying for hours.
Caletón Blanco 🤍
Caletón Blanco has a very different feel. White sand is scattered between black lava rocks, creating shallow turquoise pools that are especially beautiful in the morning light.
The contrast between the colors is striking and gives this beach a unique atmosphere unlike anywhere else on the island.
It is an excellent choice for travelers looking for something quieter and more visually distinctive.
Famara Beach 🌬️
Famara Beach is wide, dramatic and completely different from the sheltered coves in the south.
Backed by towering cliffs and often shaped by strong waves, it has a raw and powerful atmosphere. It is especially popular with surfers, but even if you are not surfing, it is worth visiting simply for the scenery.
This was one of the beaches that felt most memorable to us because of its scale and natural beauty.
Playa del Risco 🌿
Playa del Risco is one of the island’s most secluded beaches. Reaching it requires more effort, but that is exactly what makes it so special.
With very few people and a dramatic setting beneath steep cliffs, it feels remote and untouched.
If you are looking for a hidden beach in Lanzarote, this is one of the most rewarding places to visit.
