San Vito lo Capo 🏝️
San Vito lo Capo is one of the most famous beaches in Sicily, and it is easy to see why.
The wide stretch of soft white sand and shallow, turquoise water give it an almost tropical feel, framed by a dramatic mountain backdrop. It is a beautiful place to spend a relaxed day by the sea.

Just below the town of Taormina, Isola Bella is a small, picturesque island connected to the shore by a narrow strip of beach.
The pebbly beach and clear water, set against the backdrop of the tiny nature reserve, make it one of the most scenic spots on the east coast. The views from Taormina above are stunning too.
It is a lovely place to combine a swim with exploring a beautiful town.
Scala dei Turchi ☀️
Scala dei Turchi is one of the most striking natural sights on the island, a dazzling white cliff of soft marl that steps down toward the sea.
The contrast between the bright white rock, the blue sea and the nearby sandy beach is unforgettable. It is a unique and memorable place along the southern coast.
It is especially beautiful in the softer light of late afternoon.
Mondello 🌅
Close to Palermo, Mondello is a lively and beautiful beach with soft sand and clear, shallow water.
Its crescent shape, colorful bathing houses and relaxed atmosphere make it a favorite for both locals and visitors. It is an easy and enjoyable beach to reach if you are staying near the capital.
It is a great spot to experience Sicily's more social beach culture.
Cala Rossa (Favignana) 🌊
For something truly special, the island of Favignana, just off the west coast, is home to some of the most beautiful swimming spots in the region.
Cala Rossa, with its dramatic rocky setting and incredibly clear water, feels like a natural swimming pool. It takes a little effort to reach, but it is well worth it.
